Delicatessen & Farm Shop
At the gateway to the Garden of England
We’re located at the gateway to the Garden of England and have made it our mission to source the most delicious food and drink from many talented producers and farmers from this corner of England.
It all started
…with bunches of Groombridge asparagus, sold from a small market stall at the edge of our current site. It quickly became clear that there was a customer appetite for locally sourced, seasonal produce which gave us the confidence to open our shop and deli in the old milking parlour on the Squerryes Estate.
Since then we have made it our mission to source the tastiest seasonal produce from some extraordinary people, sharing the same love of food and drink that we have, obsessed about the tradition of making, proud of where they live, determined to grow and make better.
75% of what we sell is from this corner of England: a mouth-watering selection of over 50 English cheeses, Kent wines, freshly baked bread and deli treats from Alexander Baillieu, head chef on the Squerryes Estate for you to enjoy.
We also have a small café with its own garden overlooking the Squerryes vineyard, on sunny days a beautiful place to sit and meet with friends and family.
We’re proud to have been awarded: ‘Kent’s Best Local Food Retailer, 2020’

The collection service operates between Wednesday to Saturday and can be as ‘contact free’ as you wish – we’ve worked hard to create a safe shopping experience so you don’t have to leave your car if you don’t want to. Please scroll down to the base of this page to see instructions for collecting your order.
If there are no collection slots available for the day you want, please do call our office team (01959 562345), Monday to Friday to place your order as we do sometimes have extra slots available.
Please note that the minimum order spend is £10.
Please make sure you select a collection day and time slot before you pay for your order.
The collection point is at the barn, to the side of our shop (address below). We’re not accepting collections from our shop.
Please do let us know (in the notes section of the checkout) if you do not want to leave your car and we will put your shopping in your car boot or leave by your car. Please do leave your car registration details as part of that note.
